from photo bucket I usually grab the IMG code.

At amazon it does not seem to be an option.

Add it yourself, it's simple. [img] link to your pic [/img] without the spaces in between.

To get the image url right click on the image and select "copy image address" and paste that between the img tags.

Who is hosting your websites? I use GoDaddy for my website and set up a folder under my account behind the scenes to store all my photos. Never had an issue.

I logged in to amazon, dropped a couple pix into the photo area and linked them here to see what happened.

                        My assessment.

Photobucket is a nightmare...it takes me 45 times as long as it should to upload a photo and then get the link because I have to fight through all of their ads, pop ups, videos, format changes, and general bull shit. I have to say this was easy. Uploaded immediately...you have to get the photo address however, I couldn't get the link thing to work.

This may be my new photo hosting site. I will continue to populate some photos and see how it goes. Hey Photo bucket...

I couldn't agree more. My only concern with Amazon is do you have to maintain a prime membership to have access to your photos? I'm not a fan of subscription based services. I get it, just choose not to use them.

This whole thing got me thinking...I wonder if I could post photos from my Onedrive account (others may use drop box or some other web based storage area)...here is a link to a photo that was out there already of a pileated wood pecker that frequents our suet...this thing is gigantic! Looks like this would work too!
