      Now thats a very cool project there Gunny. Love seeing old things brought back to life. Today, that same thing would be made out of stamped metal and plastic LOL. With a "made in China" sticker no less.

      Can't wait to see how it turns out. My dad freaking loves sorghum on his pancakes. I think it's a Norwegian thing

            Actually, maize (corn) is a grass and was domesticated from a wild grass ancestor. Corn, cane sugar, and sorghum are all related and all from the grass family. All are refined into a sweet grain or syrup and all are used for ethanol production.
            The sorghum will grow a seed head that can be baked and eaten, or popped like popcorn.
