  • Some bacon, garlic, onion, pepperjack, moz, smoked pull bread

I'm not sure where to post this. Please move if needed.

    Just a snack!

I scored (cut) a loaf of olive oil bread...

placed slices of pepperjack cheese in the slits..

    also some mozzarella cheese...

    fried some bacon...

added a couple tablespoons of butter to the bacon drippings and sautéed scallions and garlic until tender...

spooned the tender scallions, garlic, bacon drippings and butter into the bread slits and drizzled the rest on top.

Into the Memphis Pro (cause I had it going anyway) Smoked for 25 minutes at 325F with a piece of foil on top, then removed the foil and smoked until heated through...

Topped with crisp bacon and minced scallions... and called er good.

    It smelled soooo good.
I couldn't wait, had to dive in while the cheese was warm and gooey. :)

I think I might love this stuff.
    Thanks for looking!

for the concept and the excellent example thereof!

What a killer way to make garlic bread! Can't wait to try it!

Thanks everybody! It was pretty easy to put together... Any bread, cheese, filling combo would work.
I'm convinced bacon drippings make anything taste good. :)
