  • Tri-tip

After reading all the tri-tip posts I had to pick a couple up. I ordered 2 from the meat market I drive by on my way home from work earlier in the week and picked them up tonite. They averaged to around 2.5lbs. @ 8.99 a lb.
My plan was to smoke them, but when I got home my wife asked what I want for dinner, cause she had no plan, and I think was hinting "Hey lets go out for dinner" I thought, what the hell lets try one of these on the grill. I covered it in Montreal Steak seasoning and threw it on the gas Weber. Very good! I took it off at 135 and let it rest for about 15 mins. I can't wait to smoke the other one.

It was good! My wife already told me to get the other one out of the freezer and get it grilled up this week. I guess if I'm gonna smoke one I'll have to pick up some more.
