    So I saw that post on the spiral cut hot dogs and decided to try something.
    Put the dog on a skewer, spiral cut, dipped in beer batter, then into 350 deg oil. Served with a little chipotle mayo.

    I'd eat some of those. I bet they would be a hit at deer camp this weekend.

        Kinda a play on the corn dog... guess we could call that one the "beer dog"

                  Very cool, I think I could handle a few of them.
                  Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
                  My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
