  • Pacific NW = Salmon. It's what for dinner.

Broiled up a couple pieces of salmon. I made a peppery sauce of butter, sriacha, and some hunky spice. Steamed up some vegetables as a side.

Recipe for the sauce was as follows...
    3 TBS butter
    1 teaspoon MH no salt
    2-3 good squeezes of sriacha

Melted the all ingredients together and spooned over the fish right before taking out of the broiler.

    Farm raised or wild?

Some fresh veggies go a long way! Toy took the time to do the fish right, don't forget the veg!

Sorry. In any case, working at a local seafood wholesale/retail/restaurant doing a bit of everything. The wild King is astronomical right now, but the organic King isn't too bad considering it's farm raised. Even if farm raised, ask where its from! The chilean garbage gets dyed due to the terrible quality. Norweigan and icelandic aren't bad for the what they are. Being in the nw, abs given the season is ramping up, I bet you got a better deal on Wild than my boss pays for the better fan raised.

Again sorry. Love my fish. Worked on a boat out of Sitka, AK catching Kings, cohos and halibut a few years back...

Wild....I only use wild. I am pretty firm on that rule for salmon.

I was the same way until recently. Only wild under twenty five a pounds is pf. The organic King had been my only exception-my uncle would kill me:(

I am jealous though. Nothing beats fresh caught salmon.
