So I will be wrapping up the fire basket on my first UDS later on this afternoon and will post a pic or two once it is fini.

I put a 'lil twist on the construction that I'm certain others have tried in the past, but I will be very happy to hear every cheer (or jeer) that any will care to share with me post-photos.

See you all later on today... I'm off to Social Studies class with my wife and our pair of poochies for a few hours just now.

Ended up measuring in at a touch over 16 & 1/2" in diameter.

Here's hoping that a 1 & 1/2" air gap will prevent the snake from jumping to the center and keep it on the perimeter until it burns it's way around and then in. If my calculations are accurate I'm expecting easily a 20 hour burn once it stabilizes at 220°.

    Thoughts?
