        Yes you are right. It is a cottage pie when made with any meat other than lamb. But it seems most people in the US don't know the difference or care. Thus most people just use the title Shepherd's pie interchangeably for all the versions of recipes no matter what meat is used.

              Great idea Jim. I may sneak these in on my kids and not tell them what they are eating. Bet they will love them.

                    No way Rich! My kids are foodies. Once they eat it, they will ask for again. Hell, William just had julienne red bell pepper dipped in Italian seasoned olive oil and some black olives for his evening snack. Hell, we still have leftover candy from last Halloween...
