  • Summer Sausage Weekend

    The wife is at the lake house with the dog and I am left here to fend for myself.. Since Deer season is just a few weeks away I thought I would make some SS to clear out some space for this years deer..


    Just getting started, 10 pounds of SS hitting the smoker in just a few... Should have a play by play as we go..

    Some of the stars of todays show, 24 oz. of Colby Jack Cheese and 10 Jalapenos, along with there other cast of goodness..




    Up next, the slurry and the mixing...

                      Will do, they are in the fridge for a nap overnight and then vacuum seal them up for future eats..

                              I think you may have told me this before, but do you precook the jalapeņos at all, or just throw them in raw?
