  • Mad Hunky Irish Death Jerky

    Mad Hunky jerky seasoning and the included cure, with 1 Cup Irish Death (A Dark Smooth Ale) joined up with 5# of trimmed Top Round. Into the fridge for a Saturday morning/afternoon smoke, then dehydrator meeting.

      Sorry I missed yer call Fish... but sure! I have used Newcastle Brown a few times. Did Guinness once.. was a bit sweet, but good.

                    Sounds good Fish. Curious as to how the Ale will change the flavor. I just did 5lbs of MH ground beef jerky using Rich's reccomendation of using 50/50 red wine & water. Came out really good but a little mild flavor. Keep us posted.

                        It sure has taken off aroond here. Few years back it was hard to find, now its pretty much everywhere

                            I remember the first time I had it was in a pub in poulsbo and I tried to find it everywhere after that but couldn’t. Now I can get it at the local fred Meyer. Reminds me I need to get some for Christmas Day.

                              Dehydrated it. Turned oot excellent. Not sure how much difference the Irish Death made, butt Rich's jerky mix is killer
