  • Got the sticks.....no burner

So the phone rings and the caller asks if I'm busy. Maybe not....what do you need. Help pruning trees. Apple and pecan. Turns out 92 year old father is still up to the task (he thinks so and so do I), but he has been laying around all winter and can't work for more than an hour or so at a time without having to stop and rest......taking too long......so I'm called in to help. So spend a day........the way we have to do it is dangerous as hell.....won't say how, but if you are nervous about heights, don't look down.

Anyway, got the job done and this was the side benefit. On a typical smoke using my UDS, each stick is all I'd use. One stick at a time.......that is a lot of smokin. Bright white is pecan. Darker wood is apple.....or part of it anyway. Rest is in another pile. Tree is also pecan......sans a whole lot of lower limbs.
