I've been hearing conflicting reports whether KCBS members get access to Restaurant Depot. What is the deal?

You get a one day pass when you are a member of the KCBS.
Have to explain to them when you go and show them your membership card and they will give you a one day pass every time.

Awesome, off I go to sign up.

One last question, their are a few RD affiliates that are called Jetro. Do I get access to those as well? They're a lot closer than RD and if they offer the same quality and cuts, I may go there instead.

Yeah Jetro is part of it.

Somethin' to think about regarding RD, find a friend with a tax #, all they really want is that. Non-profit org, resale license, etc...had that and I am a member. Definitely worth it too, they have more meat than anyone I know off.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

Was gonna do that through my Sister for her business license but in the RD rules it said you needed a food resellers permit I thought, I could have been wrong about that part but I know it was something similar because I couldn't use hers.
Didn't bother trying so maybe it would work, only basing this on what it was I thought I had read.

They sell to restaurants, wholesale prices but you buy in bulk.

                        But great quality.
RD brand meats are all black angus. And talking about meat, I LOVE walking into the meat section and it is a giant walk in cooler with just tons and tons of different cuts. And their mountain of chicken cases is neat.

Got a pack of beef ribs there once cause round here they all suck and it was $48 but I got 3 huge slabs in the package. Don't remember the weight but definitely worth it.

The one in Pennsauken is impressive. Got a card, let me know if I can help. Planning on attending the comp in Middletown, maybe hook up with you there.
