What I would suggest, if you are simply joining us to try and find somebody to cook with, is maybe making some posts illustrating your skills in comp cooking. That way, the forum doesn't get used simply as your personal BBQ Linkdin site. Might not hurt if you post skills, awards won, equipment available for team use, and other useful attributes.

Otherwise go to a comp, and solict teams. Perhaps you will get lucky, and one of them will let you scrape chicken skin and wash cutting boards.....
