  • Vortex Wings

Seemed like a good day for wings.

Two packages of wings with 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup Frank's Hot Sauce, and 1 cup MH Hot Whang.

On the Weber around the Vortex.

One hour and four 90° lid rotations later.

    Ready to eat.

Tasted pretty darn good with a nice cold beer.

    Thanks for looking.

          Yep. That was tonight's dinner.

I was going to nuke some frozen veggies but never got around to it.

Those wings look great!! So great I'm about to head out and grab a bag of wings from the local grocery and get them in that marinade so they are ready in time for kick off! I have been seriously giving thought to relocating the handle on one of my Weber lids to use with my vortex.

Thanks for all the nice comments and points.

I get these all to myself as they are too hot for the women folk here and my son doesn't like to mess with the bones.

Methinks he needs a little education on the fine points of meat. As in flavor, and where it comes from

Alas, I fear his parents are to blame. Too many chicken nuggets growing up.

Although he and his sister do seem fond of ribs.
