I just made a batch of these. I did a half batch with your recipe and find them a tad on the sweet side. I made the other half with some New Mexico chile powder. It gave it some mild chile flavor without being hot (or even warm) and it cut the sweetness a tad. Still has the smooth PB-melt-a-way goodness to it though. Very good stuff. It will be part of my holiday menu from now on.

just one thing - 2 minutes in the microwave on high ?
I'd go 30 seconds with a 2 minute stirring pause between each one.
2 minutes on high in our microwave and we'd have smoke !
Other than that - I'm going to have to try this

That was the only thing we worried about at first, but so many recipes agreed on the Nuking time. It is almost done after the first 2 minutes. Then we only gave it another 30 seconds. I guess it doesn't smoke it up, because it's a good sized batch.

Same here---The only Candy bars I ever liked was Reese's & 3 Musketeers.
These put them to shame.
And as for being Simple or Easy, you won't find any Step by Steps from me that aren't Easy. I'm a lazy cook!!

I took about 6 recipes, and narrowed everything down to this, about 4 years ago.
We make them for our two big Christmas Parties, and for Easter. The adults like them just as much as the kids do!!!
