zero containment and growing fast, lots of fuel to burn. Alex you all probably don't see lots of these across the pond?

True story! Send us some rain!!! The interesting fun fact about Northfork, the town where this wildland fire is burning - it is the exact most CENTRAL point of California.

                        You're welcome.

                        My deflector looks like this.

ThunderDome had some made up awhile back.

And the Auber is one of the PID controllers. Good for overnight unattended cooks. Here's a link to the one I have.

Here's a link to the thread where I made a mount for the fan to fit onto a 3/4" pipe nipple and here is a link to a test run I did with it.

The Auber works great but isn't quite as straight forward as it could be as far as setting alarms and such. I think the iQue 110 is easier to use. Mark R has one and seems to like it.

Yup I do and it is excellent. Very simple to use. I have the version 1, they have changed it a bit. But mine you set the temp ( a little low to start) and let it go. One knob to set desired temp, that's it.

Good work! Thx for posting. I will try to dig up some pics tonight.
I need to run one of those chuckies.

Glad you joined the drum corps. They are 2 easy. I have 2-3 friends in Tulsa with them now. Dave has your fuel concern covered. I saw a UDS run 24 hrs once at a meet-up with the Q Joint crew 5 yrs ago.

Yeah with a drum you're gonna want to load it up with more than you think you're going to need.

It's kind of like a kettle in that when you're done, just shut everything down and you can reuse the leftover charcoal next time.
