Today is the day I finally get to do some wings on the Weber with the vortex. I have looked at several threads in the poultry forum and see a lot of ideas. My main question is this, the wings I bought are not split, so should I split them or leave them whole? I am sure it is mostly a personal preference but would like to hear what you guys think/do when cooking wings with a vortex.

Im lazy so I do mine just the way they are when I buy them. I have never cut the tips off. Like others said I too like chewing on the crunchy ends. Most of the time though mine are the 10 lb bags from Sams or Costco that are already cut up....Good luck with the V.
