  • Air Fryers

Since reading up on "air fryers", it seems they are in reality a mini convection oven.
The size may be handy for small snacks or cooks, but for people who want to cook a couple pizzas or larger meals for more people, I think a counter-top convection oven(not a convection toaster) may be a better option. I had one similar to this one for several years and it worked great until it got dropped in our last house move. Also some are less money, some are more.

Just posting an option for the replies in other threads about needing larger cooking capacities.

yeah..that’s just about right... perhaps a bit higher airflow that the normal convection. I picked one up for grins... gonna play with it later.

Yup Like Jim said---My searches showed the AirFryer to be nearly twice as fast as the convection oven, but there isn't near as much room to do the amount of food at one time as you can in a convection oven.
The AirFryer is Super easy to keep clean too.

This is dead on. I find the bowl design of the air fryer combined with the condensed space and powerful fan better for some things. Mostly things you would fry. My strombolis and anything baked goes in the Breville counter top convection oven. The two compliment each other well. Fries in the air fryer , wings in the Breville. By the way the build quality and user interface of the Beville are both top notch. They even made the power cord easier to unplug by adding a finger hole to the plug end.
