It's all about the glass. I too have an N90s and I have a D70. The D7000 is the first camera that has made me really want to replace my D70. To me the biggest benefit of the D7000 over the D70 and D90 is that it has the AI meter will work with all AI lenses dating back to 1977. If any of those lenses you have are non-CPU, it's worth looking into.
Yeah, I'm hearing good stuff about the D7000. Still doing me homework tho...
