      Sorry to read bout that Phil! I learned way back to do a quick ice bucket then boilin H2O check on em. I use the same thermos for outdoor fish fryin, which I do a lot more often than turkey. Well, with a Thermopen and a ChefAlarm to double check. The do chit the ceiling without notice often!

          I knew better, butt got lazy I guess. Shoulda checked the damn thing first... my bad. That's the third or fourth one that went south on me... this one bit me straight in the ass. Oh well, it's all good... dinner was salvaged.

                      450 is damn near the temp Rich smoked his famous batch of cheese at.... There's a pic floating around of that... Anyway we all get to chalk cooks like this up to "Shit Happens" from time to time.
