  • McCulloch Steam Cleaner

I received this yesterday from Amazon. Been wanting to try one for several months. So far, I've steam cleaned our ceramic cooktop, my Rolex that I never take off, and as the video below, the gunked up grills from my MES. Works very good, of course, not as good as a 2k machine, but I didn't pay that much for it.

Pretty cool. How did it do on your glass top stove?

It comes with a microfiber mop pad that attaches to a plastic thing. I didn't know what I was doing since I don't read directions too much. But it worked real well, getting a lot of grease spots up after a couple of swipes and softening up the cooked on crap where the razor blade just took it up with no repeat scraping the same spot. Next time I'll just use the plain head so the steam is hotter. Hardly any run-off of condensation, just a little wipe down and was done

That looks like it might work pretty well on a glass cook top. Nothing we have used as far as straight cleaning products has worked all that well. Thanks for sharing

why would you clean your bbq grates ?
They get sterilised each time you fire it up and it's just baked on flavour :-)

I bought one of these also to clean the smokers, but have not used it for that yet. I did blast down the grout in the shower however, and it looks like new.
