  • Vacmaster 320

The Vacmaster 320 came in yesterday. It was one of the most well packaged things I have ever received. The semi came down my street, liftgated it down to my dolly and a friend and I uncrated it, got it up my front steps and lifted it on the rolling cart I had modified just for the Vacmaster. It's huge. Specs say it's 175 pounds and I believe it.
Setup was a snap, just add oil to the pump and you're off to the races. I had half a brisket that needed sealing and it was the first test. Works perfect!
I wanted to show how big this thing is. I'm 6'2" tall so the picture shows the sealer in perspective.

        That's why it's on a cart, not a counter.

Wow! Even with the cart setup, I don't know where I'd put it. That thing is a MONSTER!!! Cool tool!

Yes, 20x22x19 is a beast. Glad the cart is rated at 400lbs. I did some compressed watermelon last night. It totally changes the watermelon into a crisp cube and the fruit gets a dark red color.

You need to add some rum to the watermelon for a marinade.

I've been thinking of a mojito to it.
I did do some watermelon and mint leaves that was pretty tasty, that's what gave me the idea of a mojito
