I cooked this in prep for Irma figuring I would be without power and water for a while as we lose power every time there is something blowing.... of course I never lost power. But this came in handy for fast east meals for the next week.
I started off sauteing ooion, celery, green peppa an carroot! (Garlic an ginger an peppers an salt)
While dat cook down I got couple 3 lbs ground beef and 2 lb Chorizo (Chef Rob recipe).
Brown up the meats in de veggies.
Toast the rice in butta, black cargo an long grain white rice.
Add the chiggin stock an the meat mixture an cook jus like rice.
Added some chopped zucchini at the end. No plated pic, it just went into the fridge.
Big tortilla an a couple big spoons, fold and go! Fast easy fuel for the week I spent picking up the pieces an fencing!
