  • Stuffed Brie

OK this isn't smoked but , it was a fun cook.
I started with a small wheel of brie and some apples and onions I softened up in a skillet.

I took the wheel and scored it just through the wax with a knife.

Then I wrapped a string around the wheel making sure I got the string in the score.

I made an overhand knot and pulled. the string slid right through cutting the wheel in half.

    Now for the stuffing.

    Apples.

    Onions

Then I wrapped it with a puff pastry.

    Baked it in the oven.

Here's a plate of cheese goodness.

    Thanks for looking

Never had it. Can't wrap my head around that flavor profile. But damn, the idea sounds delicious! Perhaps I need to head off to the market...

Some days I think Bravo Zulu, other days it's more like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...

        Nicely done.

I have had it made with pineapple, roasted red pepper and pickled Jalapeno slices

Brie is amazing in that regard. I’m telling you peanut better goes well..along with bacon, and asparagus. Mess with brie... I dare you

Looks great... that’s one of my fave pairings for a pork loin

Love it! Also like the hot peppers idea.
