wow that is a lot of work for a grinder stand.
    Where's the stuffer attach ?

Be nice to have the space for something like that though. I think I'd probably have gone for a formica wipe down surface. what sort of paint you used on the top ?

And what did you trade with dan that smelled so good ???? :-)

        Looks awesome!

A guard may not be a bad idea, though.

Wow DubbleDee, that is an awesome creation!!

Yeah, if I were lucky enough to have one of those, in my case, I can see the need for a guard... not so much for my "manhood", butt for the rest of my appendages... and such...

            Great job bro!!

OK so it's time to Pimp out this project

After some consideration I've found it necessary to add a couple of electrical outlets to the underside of the counter top for accessoris like food saver, blender/spice mill & such. Also, after storing things like boxes of zip lock bags, celophane, foil & such I can see where things can soon become untidy so perhaps some sort of component type baskets would work. A proper dispenser for butchers twine is a must!

                      for the casters right?

All things considered including every piece of hardware, mechanical components (including the motor), wood, chipboard, grinder included, I'm still far under what cabelas charges for they're grinder of the same output and I have a table to boot!

DD that table looks sweet. I like the grinder setup too. Just outta curiosity, did you get the pillow blocks and love-joy coupler locally? I found a place when I was building my log splitter that has pretty good prices on that stuff.

                            Definately some good prices there.

I got them locally... Tractor Supply.

I skipped the heavy duty pillow blocks as this application is light duty.

Great. Our nearest TSC is Joplin, about 90 miles from me. But the town where I work is getting one. Hopefully we'll get the concrete.
When I lived in Iowa, I did a lot of shopping at TSC.

She's pretty near done. Still havent found the basket combo I'm looking for to hold the plactic bag & cellophane boxes but was able to cut these to fit along the bottom shelf on the meat side for spices for just a few bucks. I also need a papertowel holder.

I still have to add two more casters but for now this baby's gotta make some sausages.

                                Lets make Salami!!!
