    Here is my recipe for baked beans in the iron on the smoker.


    Bacon for the fat







    Smoked for about 1 1/2 hours

    Beans good for the heart.

    These look fantastic. What was that last thing you put in? Thinking a brown sugar concoction..
    Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
    My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

        Yes a quick brown sugar bbq sauce. I just threw some stuff together. I would have used sweet baby rays but I was out

                After years of just serving Bushes Baked Beans out of the can to go with my Q I finally tried smoking em with the meat and they were delicious. I've done it twice now in aluminum pans, need to get me a BIG Dutch oven!!!

                  That looks fantastic.But my mom would have called that hamburger bean hot dish, or cowboy hot dish. or something like that. I think anybody on this site will recommend Dutches baked beans .try them youll never go back to anything else.
