I've made these beans for the last 2 years when we have people over for a cookout or sporting events like the Super Bowl. They always have been a huge hit with friends and family, in fact, people are now requesting them when they get invited. Thanks Dutch, you have made entertaining much simpler.

I have had people eat these instead of dessert! I don't fire Black Betty up with out them.

I have made these often. I have deviated from the original recipe to where I'm adding molasses, ancho chilies in adobo sauce, sweet chili powder, honey etc. Pulled pork added in these is outstanding!!

Like many others have said I get alot of compliments on these. To the point where people make me feel like my ribs are the side dish and the beans are the main course

I've been using Barbecue Universties "Best Barbequed Beans on the Planet" recipe for years and gotten rave reviews and requests, now I'm gonna have a throw down and try these. Seems way simpler, and just as tasty looking. I'll try to let y'all know how the throw down goes. I do love me some black beans and man that 'que sauce in the beans is killer. But I'm new around here and from all I'm picking up realize I need to keep an open mind.

These are becoming a staple for me, everyone loves them! Try using chunks of peaches instead of pineapple, really works well!
