Good morning Meat-Heads.
I am looking for information/links/opinions on the question of different linings one may find applied to 55 gallon drums.
I've recently picked up 2 of them for UDS builds and though they were used to ship various foodstuffs, they do not have the reddish to brownish color inside I've come to understand is phenolic epoxy.
I get them for $15 a throw from a local bear bait purveyor (including lid and screwband-style ring) but they are painted or lined with a light cream colored application of some sort. The contents when they get them in are inside clear 3 mil polyethylene bags which they remove before reselling them.
Does this sound like the dreaded stuff I've been reading about which is said to be a "bear" (heh-heh-heh) to remove?
