woke the starter up from a deep snore...ain't used it in month's...just busy, ya'll understand...used this recipe...http://12tomatoes.com/2013/09/recipe..._term=20150725used a bottle of Smithwick's Ale... it was really good...throwed it in the cast iron...all i heard from Louie is...u can make a helluva mess!

Smithwick's on it's own is dang near a loaf of bread... Mmm...love the beer. Bet that is great!

Not a big fan of Smithwicks. Didn't think it was popular this side of the Atlantic.The Mrs adopts it as her go to brew when we are in Ireland.Though just like Guinness which i cant stand it might make a good cooking beer.I love to make a Beef and Guinness pot pie.

hard part was i only got one slice... grand daughter & her Dad wore it out! Louie was...where's mine... best thing was i hid the Smithwick's in a empty Natty box in the Natty fridge...
