I know.. there isn't anything in Canada that should be associated with SouthWest.. but I was living 16 hours North of where I am now.. so that gives me some rights..

Living heard the US boarder and built a smoker after struggling with a BBQ to get great quality cooked foods.. found out I needed a smoker.. Looked at the ones for sale at GM and BP. but opted to build one from an old SS cabinet.. Went verticle and for now running on propane..

I was hunting for something new to try cooking and came across this site.. look forward to sharing some adventures and posting some pics of what's in the smoker..

Right now, I'm trying a 10lb prime rib..

Have the family coming over.. so pray for me..
