picked these up sat. Farmland, but still enhanced..........
these marinaded close to 48 hours, due to laziness........lolol.......but wasn't too concerned, because no vinegar in the marinade.
Ribs marinaded in you know what
I put the ribs on, NO rub, just the residue marinade.
I then took the left over marinade, and reduced it by half
brought it up to a good boil to start, just to make sure, but did this same with the beef I did earlier.......
then put in the freezer to lower the temp quickly as i wanted to use it as a baste/glaze. Final product ready to use
smoked over a combo of maple, then apple........basted after one hour with the marinade
foiled after 2 hours, spraying liberally with cherry juice. After bout 1.5 hours, had more than enuff pullback, took out to firm up, 1 hour.
last 1/2 hour, i glazed with my homemade honey chipotle bbq sauce
served up with homemade American Mac Salad.
I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of trimmings i got off of these ribs..........THICK.........here's the shot, with the left over ribs.........
only used the JD marinade on these, not HC bbq.
BTW, as a warning, this sauce gets HOTTER the LONGER it sets...........
