We'd have that spread on toast dusted with salt and garlic powder at the Hunky side grandparent's place as kids- Mmm...

Don't get me wrong...I didn't mind the generator noise Saturday night with temps down in the low 20s...having heat was good in the camper.

Hey, has anyone ever watched the show Man Fire Food on the Cooking Chanel? There was a marathon on yesterday afternoon and he was showing some pretty cool stuff. Check out THIS rotisserie at a place in Hawaii. They butterfly their chickens and then each spit holds 7 chickens...this rotisserie holds over 20 spits. They load them on one end and they move to other end in about 40 minutes and the chicken is done. Of course while they are moving all of the spits are spinning. I think I remember them saying the pit was like 40 feet long. The place is called Koala Moa. They had smaller pits, too, but this was the big one. Now THAT is a rotisserie and a whole lot of chicken!!

Our first couple cooks on the Onlyfire rotisserie on the weber kettle.

                  Works great!!!

Funny story when we did the roast. We kept checking the internal temp with the Weber iGrill 2 and couldn’t figure out why it was only at 70 degrees and then realized it was set to degrees celsius. Groan!

40 degrees over cooked but when we cut it it was still juicy and tasted great.
