With all of the luck and great finds SOME of you have had regarding acquiring Webers off off CL, the last 3 months in my area turned up nothing. I was specifically looking for a Performer, or a 26 incher. Now keep in mind I live in an area which boasts over 6 million people in the tri-state area which includes south Jersey, Philly, and Delaware. Nothing, nada, zip, the BIG zero..
So, last weekend, I decided on the spur to just go get a new one, and decided on the big guy. Ever since I bought the 22.5 kettle, it's my go-to in most cases, it's easy, works very well, economic, low maintenance, etc, etc, etc. The only problem was sometimes it was a bit tight doing more than one thing. I wanted 2 kettles to work with, but finally decided on the bigger one since I had to buy new. I know now I made the right decision.
This baby is the Cadillac of the Weber kettles, and if you don't believe that, check one out at your local store if you can.
Only used it twice, and cannot wait to use it again this coming weekend.
