  • Man! It was.......

..... mighty cold yesterday but I fired up both my smokers anyway. I had more to cook than what I could get in The Beast. 5 Butts, 4 Pastramis, 4 fatties, 4 armadillo eggs, 5 chicken leg quarters, and two racks of wild hog ribs. It was snowing and windy and I had a tuff time keeping my temps at 225*. But I got it done.

Don't know where you're from, but I think I need to move in with you.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

I started cooking some BBQ for a lady at work last year and she paid me to do it. I guess word spread and now every cook I do seems to get bigger and bigger. I tell someone that I am cooking this weekend and before long I end up with five or six folks wanting something. I enjoy the cooking and they pay me what I ask. But 6am to 9pm yesterday made for a long day. On top of being cold as rip.

                Thanks Y'all.

Now that's how it's done. If you're going to fire it up, might as well fill it up. Lot's of future meals there. I wanna see finished pics of the ribs and pastrami, though. lol.

                  for dealing with the elements.
