a while back the local Fresh Thyme store had eye of round on sale for $2.48 so I nabbed a few of them. So Thursday night I bagged one up with JAB and butter and threw it into the hot tub. 133F at 9:30 Thursday evening. Fast forward to Friday evening 5:00 PM.
Mash the taters, strain the juice from the SV bag into a sauce pan for the gravy, add a bit of cornstarch slurry, throw the meat over the vortex for 2 minutes, and BAM!! it's Friday night dinner!!!!!
This morning I took what was left and sliced it on the little Rival slicer. Mrs. Courser does the Weight Watcher thing so I portioned it into 3 oz. bags for her to take to work for lunches. Nuke 'em in the bags and everything is hot and fresh again. I screwed up those and forgot to save any of the gravy to put in with them.
