Brined Hot Whang Boneless Thighs, and Brined Tenders Coated in Fried Onions!

So fired up the gasser tonight for some Brined Hot Whang Boneless Thighs, and Brined Tenders Coated in Fried Onions!

What a great day it is outside today so could not cook inside tonight so we wanted some chicken so what the heck lets get after it!!

First the Brined Tenders Coated in Fried Onions:

Here is the chicken getting happy in the chicken brine!



Found this can of fried onions in the pantry so I thought lets give the chicken a coating..



Dumped the onions into a bowl and coated the chicken up real good... I did not have an egg so no egg dip to help secure the onion... turned out okay though...

Here they are all coated up!!



Then got the thighs out and gave then a good coating of the Hot Whang!!



A few minutes on the grill and here is what we have.

And the thighs!!

Sorry for got to post that part..

The brine and whang was a nice combo if you ask me!! I think I like it better than the brine and reg. rub combo... but that is me.. I like the heat. produced very moist thighs and a wonder little heat on the back side.

The onion tenders were very good as well.. The onions tenders were very good as well.. kids just ate them all.. I got like two bites on one thats it!! kids said they liked then better in the oven but hey it is summer time... grill they go!!

I put one of the bites i had in a little honey mustard and it was a great dip for that flavor profile if you ask me. being that the kids ate them all up I will be making these again... anything they eat like that you know it was a good meal!!

Heh...Well..sometimes that's true. I distinctly remember driving the kids to McD's, the resto...not the legend... for nuggets... ugh...
