I take it you have some browsing critters in your neighborhood, hence the wire fencing? A word to the wise... Don't leave that sprayer attached to the garden hose for an extended period of time. I have one just like it & I made that mistake. It corroded & cemented itself to the hose, I had to cut it off & replace the hose end.
Thanks everyone! I did not build this, we had it built by a friend who knows his chit. My wife designed it, he built it using cypress. This should last a while...

Yeah ICE, we got critters, so the fencing should help in keeping them oot. And, the hose is disconnected after every use. Thanks for the heads up...

Do you watch the water, waiting for it to boil too?

Nope. Just admiring the sumbitch. Ya gotta see it in person Mark to get the feeling. And it's magic that every day, the seeds we planted are sprouting and growing. Phuck I love that! Yup. Magic.

I know exactly what you mean Phil, I used to have a garden. Still have the area set up and the watering system. Maybe start it up this fall. Toooooo hot to start now, plants would just burn up.
It it really cool to walk out every day and see what grew....and what ya can eat that day!

nice looking garden, Phil. The fenced in and gated approach looks great. Gotta give some green thumb here. Im in the process of making some raised bed gardens for Mrs Otis, but its been 107 degrees this week, so I wont be making much progress anytime soon.

I need to get our vegetable beds back in shape too. I've got 4 30'x3' raised beds that need to be re-sided and just never seem to have the time anymore. It's been 3 years since we put anything in there. Just full of grass & weeds now.

I love coming home. My back porch smells just like a BBQ joint.....

And that's why I start all my pepper and tomatoes indoors and raise them under lights till it's time to take em outside...Love that from beginning to end...Also get the same feeling when I pull a jar of salsa out of the pantry in January...Gets me ready to start it all over again...
