Theirs a live human tomato in that video. Yum yum

I hope my wife doesn't see that video. She can grow almost anything EXCEPT tomatoes. The exception is cherry tomatoes and she does OK with them. That contraption there may make her think she can whip the beast! :ballchain:

My wife and Mom both use a similar set up and believe it or not it actually does work !!! Great for growing peppers too.

Living in a small apt I decided to give the topsy turvey a try. I must say so far I am impressed!!! My tomato has only had 2 weeks of growing time but it has tripled in size and growing fast. I look forward to seeing it when it bears fruit. If it works I will get more for chiles and herbs.

My folks gave me two of them last year and I must admit they grew very well and very fast. It was amazing really. Of course, I had to go and think I could do even better and ended up over fertilizing them and killing them. I've got some maters out in the garden already and when a couple of them get big enough I was going to try it again this year with just Miracle Grow dirt and no more fertilizer.
