  • Shepherd's Pie for First Dinner Home

I made Shepherd's pies for dinner. This was our first home cooked meal since Pam got home and this is one of her favorites

Sauteing some diced onion, green pepper, celery, and minced garlic in butter til soft then set aside

Browned about 1 1/4 pounds of ground lamb seasoned with coarse sea salt, FCBP, rosemary, thyme, and then drained

I then added the saute mix, sweet peas, diced carrots, veggie stock back into the ground lamb to cook til gravy has thickened

Meat & veggie mixture spooned into Ramekins

Now I fill the Ramekins with mashed potatoes

Just before placing the Ramekins into the oven I covered the top with shredded cobyjack cheese

Ramekins out of the oven. Cheese is melted and ready to eat

This was so good to eat a home cooked meal

    Thanks for lookin'
