    I'll bet a mustard sauce made from a good spicy stone ground mustard or maybe just the mustard would be great for dipping them in.

      Yeah, I had the spicy mustard and honey in my hand to make a sauce.. put it back got out the 1000 island... will try next time... they will be made again.!!

          I think that would be fine... would hold off on rolling in the panko.. in the frig they would get soggy I would think... maybe do the ball and then do the battering the day of... did not take long... you could make smaller balls too....not sure you like big ball for your events... sorry had too...
