          kinda funny, i was noticing last night that everywhere it's hot ,from mexico to louisiana to the desert they all eat spicy food. ya never know,some 5 alarm fire starter chili may make 100 degrees outside seem like a cold front.

            Weather will break one day eventually, my grand son is up in Comanche and doing rain dances. It can get worse the weather can. Lets hope this hot dryness isn't followed by a long winter of rolling continuous ice storms. Heard one cattleman from down there that said the area around Dalhart over to DFW was due a bad series of ice storms. That man there is looking to lose all his friends with talk like that.

            I know it will, but when... This heat has all my technicians tongues wagging.. Many have been going home sick with headache and vomiting from the heat.. They are spent..

            No, I drain that water and rinse all the beans before I re-fill the pot and start cooking...

            I will post a thread on it.. I really like it better than the traditional way.. It was the poorest of the poor foods back in the day..
