  • Wood pizza oven 101

Thought I would share my experience with my build.
I started the dig on May 2016.

After a whole winter off researching and reading and reading. I told the wife I was filling in the koi pond and building a wood oven.

So first I collected some material.

I misplaced a couple pics but the next step was to dry stack my blocks and support the center for top pad

Just a FYI. I own a road excavating business and work with machines all day. This project is the first time I played hand on mortar or bricks. Mind you I did all the hardscape in our back yard

Total bags of premix cement was 90. That was base and counter. And filling every other column if dry stack
