You'll love 'em! They taste great, with an old-fashioned quality to them that I really like. The next batch that I make, I might try them with apple cider vinegar, just to see the difference.

Hey Taz. Getting into pickle mode once again this year. I don't believe I told you that last year, I did this recipe just as it is written. Fantastic. I made 6 gallons of them, and have one half gallon jar left.
Trying something different this year, looking for a good fermented pickle recipe.
Hopefully have a bumper crop so I can at least get a a few quarts of your recipe pickles made.

Hey, Todd - long time, no see! I hope all is well with you and your family!
This is a good one for non-fermented pickles. It was my grandmother's recipe, and she knew her pickles.
As for a fermented one, I don't really know of any, except for Alton Brown's recipe, which looks excellent. Also, if you check out Rich's Hungarian Sun Pickles, I think you (and your (polish/Russian wife) would enjoy them, quite a bit.
