  • Today was Fryday, Tried the Disco as a Fryer

Added a quart of oil and fried up some wings

Then tossed in some Franks and butter

Then a bag of curly fries

Next was a lb of shrimp and a lb of scallops both seasoned in Zatarains Shrimp fry.

Used the shrimp and scallops to make a Po'boy

The more I use this disco the more I like it, If you are thinking about getting one, just go ahead and order one. There are a bunch of vendors out there, I picked mine up at Soutwest Disk

Gotta spread those around, but damn that looks awesome. I seriously want a PO-Boy now.

I'm excited about putting a disc wok in action, because it really looks like 1 Qt of oil gives you a nice large pool to fry in...most of the time I'm frying for Me and Mrs. Engineer and maybe a bag of Okra or some onion rings at a time. That would be great...stingy on oil but can do a bunch at once.
