      Your Ingredients are very similar to what I remember from Hawaii.
      We had a Hawaiian Staff Sgt named "Ako" in my Artillery Repair Shop.
      When we had parties in the shop he made little individual Ribs on a Hibachi.
      He used to baste them with a mix like that. Only difference I can remember was he had a lot of Sesame seeds in his too.

      Those Ribs were Awesome!!

          I would have had sesame seeds in this, had someone not spilled all we had... Not saying who did this but it is quite possibly someone that lives in my house...
