      The cure is education. And a Thermapen.

      Give her a copy of the latest meat cooking temp recommendations and a Thermapen. She's probably cooking the way her mom or grandma did. Wasn't 180° the target temp for turkey back in the day?? She probably saw no reason to ever question it.

      Hell, if it wasn't for you misfits sharing information with me, Mrs. DDave would still be cooking turkeys to 180°. They don't know what they don't know. Either did we. Can't fault them for that if you've never tried to share new information with them.
