  • Wedding shower manly dinner

The oldest is getting married next month, and today is the shower at a local resto. Sooo..the future SIL and I are hangin' out. I figgered I better come up with a meat laden menu to counteract all the estrogen flying round here last couple days...

Now no whining...the ladies got the good camera... but will post phone pix of the porterhouses I have marinading in red wine, fresh diced garlic and onion, CBP, Worchy and soy. Leftover Jap cornbread and Richtee's asparagus.

Well they all came home as the manly meat was coming off the grill. I think I got a funny look for snapping pictures of sizzling steaks...but I let it go.... they just don't get it, do they??

lol I reckon I'm staying the same age but everyone else is getting younger.

hey rich train him up right and you can get him to fire the smoker up for those early morning shoulder smokes :-)

Congrats on the wedding hope it goes well :-)

Oh yeah, great looking steaks and topping, what's the difference between porterhouse and t-bone then ? As those babies have a t shaped bone in 'em ? (I don't eat much steak so not up on the fine details of cuts)
