  • Some Discada

I finally got to cook some Discada at home on the disc and burner I made.
This is a fairly small batch, but will easily feed 6-8.
    1lb bacon
    8 oz chorizo
8 oz beef(Your choice. I used boneless rib meat. I used fajita meat in when we made it at work)
8 oz pork(loin chops are good)
    8 oz chopped ham
    8-12 oz smoked sausage
    1 large onion chopped
    2 bell pepper chopped
2 jalapenos chopped. (go more if you like, but my wife's heat tolerance has gone way down)
    5-6 cloves garlic finely chopped
    2-3 small potatoes 1/2" cubed
    4 roma tomato's 1/2" cubed
    1 bunch cilantro chopped

All the stuff cut up and prepped.

    Disc clean and ready.

    Bacon on first.

Chorizo and potato's frying in the bacon fat.

The peppers, onions and garlic cooked and off to the side while the beef and pork take a swim.

After the sausage and ham get all mixed in it gets topped with cilantro.

I didn't add any seasoning. It gets all it needs from the stuff in it.
Sorry, no plated pics. We just made some tacos and some rice for a side.
