  • SV Top Sirloin Steaks

I had a few prime top sirloins from Costco and wanted to try steaks in the SV again. I cooked them for 3 1/2 hours at 131, I seasoned them with KC steak seasoning and put a scoop of garlic butter in the vacuum pack bag and cooked them. When they were done I pulled them and seared them for 1 minute a side on the SRG grill. Wow these were the most tender and juicy steak I think I have ever cooked. These were really good and can't wait to cook some more.

OotFrickenStanding! And Red Wine too.... You are speaking my language here..... I do require Sinatra, Martin, or Amy Winehouse with this type of meal though

    Looks Killer!

          Notice the SV difference?

Not one drop of red juice leaked out from the meat. No resting needed.

          Nice!

Hey, a good Merlot with a beef dinner... cannot be beat!

Okay, I gotta ask... what was the wine?

The wine was Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. It was the first time having the wine and it was quite good and very reasonably priced.

                      Nice Job!

I never buy Prime, because none of my stores sell it. Now I'm Jealous.
