Been a busy summer ben on the road a bit - Nashville, KC, etc...
did some cooking - Kilgus Farms BB ribs off the kettle:
also another one of those kind aged sirloins:
Had some great bbq @ Martins in Nolensville, TN. -
ditto for Peg Leg Porker in Nashville:
I also rolled west and hit Silers BBQ in Henderson, TN.
It was a kind summer - hopefully a good fall - got a trip to the promised land(denver) on the horizon.Just because you welded some shit together doesnt make it a WSM.

Craved a backyard burger for the Packers game on Sun. Freshly ground chuck, fried egg, cheese pack from Wisco, chopped onion, tomato, lettuce, bacon, mayo, ketchup.
took a nap - luckily I had started some thick pork chops in the brine - Got these cut to order from Sages, close to 2" thick - they cost me about $7.75 per chop....... they were worth it:
after the brine:
RO lump - cherry - marked em' and then went indirect for about 35 mins.
